Transformers One

Hailing from Paramount Animation, Hasbro and eOne, Transformers One tells the story of how a young Optimus Prime (Chris Hemsworth) and Megatron (Brian Tyree Henry) went from being brothers-in-arms to sworn enemies. Also starring are Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Jon Hamm, and Laurence Fishburne, who are respectively voicing Elita, Bumblebee, Sentinel Prime, and Alpha Trion. ILM was responsible for character design, animation, and effects for the film which marks the company’s third animated feature.

Ultraman: Rising

Baseball superstar Ken Sato returns to his home country of Japan to pick up the mantle of Earth-defending superhero Ultraman, but quickly finds more than he bargained for when he’s forced to raise the offspring of his greatest foe, a newborn Kaiju. Struggling to balance the roles of teammate and new father, Ken must confront his own ego, his estranged father, and the conniving Kaiju Defense Force to rise up and discover what it truly means to be Ultraman.

Rango

Rango was ILM’s first full-length feature animated film. Directed by Gore Verbinski, this refreshingly original film was awarded the Academy Award® for Best Animated Feature in 2012.Those two sentences exemplify ILM’s dedication to their craft, as the work on Rango comprised everything from layout to final render. ILM took a unique approach to this film leveraging virtual production techniques such as virtual camera technology for shot design and to craft realistic camera movement.
